From a leisure birthday celebration in the garden with a life-size transformer to the launch of our luxury practice at Hyde Park. This team never ceases to amaze!!
Moet bar - sabrage -violinist - ballerinas - runway with models showcasing our luxury eyewear - ribbon cutting ceremony - set the stage for this spectacular event….wow wow wow!!!
Gill was an absolute star in the background…guiding me through the entire event with my MC stint. She read the “tone” of the crowd as she gave me the cue to the next itinerary at just the moment.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

IMPORTANT TERMS

- OWNERSHIP: All items hired remain the property of Decor Hire by Blue Velvet.
- PAYMENT TERMS: Payment is required 3 working days before the collection date or on the due date stated on the invoice. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of the order.

ORDERING AND CONFIRMATION

- All orders must be submitted via the website and emailed to courtney@bluevelvetevents.co.za or via WhatsApp.
- Email confirmation of the booking is required to process an official order.

ITEMS HIRED

- AVAILABILITY: All props are subject to availability.
- DIMENSIONS AND CONDITION: Decor Hire by Blue Velvet makes no claims as to the exactness of the pictures on this website in regards to dimensions, colours, and condition. Variations can exist between the actual props and their photos due to maintenance and improvements.
- CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY: Please ensure that the hired items can fit into your vehicle, can be packed carefully, and that all the items ordered are loaded into your vehicle on collection.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION

- DEPOSIT: A deposit of 50% of the quotation value is required to confirm the booking.
- FULL PAYMENT: The full balance is payable no later than 5 working days before collection/delivery or on the due date stated on the invoice.
- CANCELLATION FEE: Any cancellations of confirmed orders will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20%. Any cancellations made within 48 hours of the collection date require full payment of the decor items.

RETURNS AND DAMAGES

- RETURN TIME: Returns need to be made on a Monday by 10 am unless specifically arranged with Blue Velvet.
- LATE RETURNS: All late returns will be billed as a shortage invoice or additional hire, depending on the time frame.
- DAMAGES AND SHORTAGES: Shortages and damaged goods are the responsibility of the client and will be charged for in full. The client will provide adequate security measures to ensure the safety of hired goods and personnel.

PAYMENT METHODS

- We accept EFT and online YOCO payments. No goods will be prepared without full payment.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

- On collection and delivery of items, it is the responsibility of the client to note any shortages/damaged items prior to leaving the property/prior to the client's event. Any shortages or damages thereafter are billed to the client.
